titleOfInvention OXYDATION CATALYST AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
abstract The subject of the invention is an oxidation catalyst based on crystalline oxovanadium (IV) diphosphate, a catalyst preparation process and the use of the catalyst, for example for the heterogeneous catalytic gas-phase oxidation of n-C4-hydrocarbons. An object of the invention is to develop catalysts that are easy to prepare and reproducible and accessible in high yield. It is an object of the invention to modify crystal lattice characteristics of an oxovanadium (IV) crystalline phosphate oxidation catalyst based catalyst to give the desired properties as well as to provide methods of preparation and catalyst use. The inventive oxidation catalyst is characterized by a content of crystalline, latticed and sulfate-containing oxovanadium (IV) diphosphate in the catalyst grain, said crystalline compound having a selectively disseminated Roentgenpulverdiffraktionsreflex of 3.86 A 0.06 A. The preparation of the catalyst according to the invention and its use according to the invention are described in the description.
