abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of novel pyridine derivatives having valuable pharmacological properties for use as medicaments. The aim of the invention is to provide novel compounds having a blocking effect on the entry of calcium into the vascular and cardiac muscle, which have better selectivity, have a longer duration, can be more easily formulated and absorbed and have lower undesirable side effects than known compounds of similar structure.
