titleOfInvention MEANS FOR INHIBITION BZW. REGULATION OF NITRIFICATION OF AMMONIUM NITROGEN IN CULTURED BODIES
abstract The aim and object of the invention is to find compounds which have improved properties in terms of toxicity, volatility and application rate compared to the prior art. It has been found that biguanides of the general formula I NH2-C-NH-CN R1 NH2-C-NH-C-NH-CN R2NHNH and their salts and guanylamidines of the general formula II NH2-C-NH-C-R3 NHNH and their salts inhibit the nitrification of ammonium nitrogen in culture media. Here, in the general formulas for R 1 alkyl, aryl, acyl, arylsulfonyl and R 2 H or R 1, where appropriate, the same or different and R 3pyrrolazologe heterocycles.
