titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR THE SORPTIVE CADMIUM REMOVAL WITH MICROORGANISMS |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for sorptive cadmium removal from aqueous solutions, in particular industrial wastewater. The aim of the invention is to remove cadmium contaminants from industrial effluents at low cost and high efficiency. The object of the invention is to use microorganisms in a particularly sorption-active form for microbial cadmium removal. According to the invention, this is achieved by removing the cadmium compounds by sorption on biomasses which are either dried or live non-growing microorganisms. |
