titleOfInvention MEDIUM FOR ANTIPHYTOVIRAL CHEMOTHERAPY
abstract The invention relates to agents for antiphytoviral chemotherapy. The object of the invention is to improve the chemotherapeutic measures against plant viruses. The task is seen in finding new chemical agents that inhibit the replication of plant viruses due to their chemical constitution in conjunction with excipients and carriers and thus u.a. expanded the possibility of preparation rotation and thus prevention of the development of therapy-resistant virus strains. The object is achieved by the use of preparations containing N-substituted alpha-benzylthio-carbonylimino compounds of the general formula (formula). Prevent or slow down appropriate spray liquors, applied to virus-endangered plants, virus replication and the like. also the proliferation of the hard-to-control tobacco mosaic virus. Virus-induced depressions of plant yields are avoided or limited, thus stabilizing plant yields. Combined application together with 2,4-dioxohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine and other hydrogenated triazines, plant hormones and synthetic growth regulators enhances these effects. Combined or alternating use of different preparations can prevent the formation of resistance.
