titleOfInvention METHOD FOR HYDROPHOBICIZING SILICATIVE BUILDING MATERIALS
abstract The invention relates to the taking place using aqueous metal soap dispersions water repellent silicate building materials, which are mainly used as exterior plaster, weather bowl of facade elements, long-term resistant Gehbahnplatten, uncoated roof cassettes and the like. The aim and object of the invention are to adapt the hydrophobing of silicate building materials to the increased requirements of users and the extended application areas by modifying the additives to metal soap dispersions. According to the invention, this objective is achieved if, in addition to aqueous metal soap dispersions, a system of hydroxyl- and carbonyl-containing compounds and dispersed fillers are added to the mixing water of the silicate building materials.
