titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR THE AGGLUTINATION OF MICROORGANISMS |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the agglutination of microorganisms and can be applied to biotechnological or pharmaceutical microbiological processes where microorganisms are to be separated. The aim of the invention is to allow the agglutination of microorganisms in the culture medium cost-saving without much technical effort. The object of the invention is a process for agglutination which does not adversely affect the quality of the separated cells and the culture medium. According to the invention, the object is achieved in such a way that the individual cells of the microorganisms suspended in the respective culture medium are flocculated and separated by the addition of mono- and / or oligosaccharides or derivatives thereof. |
