METHOD FOR ACTIVATING PRESERVED BIOMASS IN MULTIPLE DIVING MELANGE FIELDS |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for preserving and reactivating biomass present in two- or multi-layer submersible jet fermentors. In this case, damage to the biomass caused by concentration gradients and temperature gradients is precluded by the fact that the activation takes place without biomass losses with a prepared nutrient solution and the desired process parameters are reached in the short term. This happens because the conserved biomass remains in its state until the required nutrient medium is brought separately to the required values with regard to concentration of nutrient and trace salts, p H value and temperature and only then mixed with the conserved biomass and thus the breeding process is continued, thereby achieving a rapid stabilization of the return of process water from the mechanical biomass concentration is achieved. |
