titleOfInvention COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE
abstract The coordinate measuring machine according to the invention is used for measuring planar sections of curved surfaces in Cartesian coordinates. It is preferably applicable to the examination of non-spherical rotationally symmetrical surfaces, as required, for example, for optical applications. The aim and the object of the invention are to achieve an expediency of the measurement accuracy and short measuring times by expedient design and operation of the probe system and the reference system of such a coordinate measuring machine. In a coordinate measuring machine in which the test piece is positioned relative to a probe system to preselected values of one coordinate, according to the invention, the values or other coordinates are measured by probing the sample on the one hand and a standard in a fixed position on the other hand by a double-acting probe system , This probe system consists of a probing group and a guiding group. The probing group contains two mutually unchanged probing members, which serve the probing of test and normal. The probing group is coupled to a displacement measuring system which indicates its position when the test specimen and the standard are touched. The management group transports the probing group from the test to the normal. Fig. 1
