titleOfInvention | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONCENTRATION DETERMINATION WITH POTENTIOMETRIC ENZYME ELECTRODES |
abstract | The invention relates to a method and a device for the determination of substances in aqueous solutions with a potentiometric enzyme electrode system, which can be used in medicine, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, agriculture and food industry. It consists in measuring the substances dissolved in aqueous solutions with a combination of an enzyme-free and an enzyme-coated potentiometric electrode with a common reference electrode and calculating and displaying their concentrations with an electronic control and detection system. As a result, the substances can also be determined quickly and accurately quantitatively with potentiometric p H-sensitive enzyme electrodes in test samples which have different p H values, which is especially true for physiological solutions and liquid food samples. |
