titleOfInvention METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE LOCAL DISTRIBUTION OF PARTICLES IN RESTING SUSPENSIONS
abstract The invention relates to a method according to a known device for the continuous detection of the concentration, size and the local distribution of particles in quiescent suspensions. The object of the invention is to allow a continuous measurement of the local distribution of particles in quiescent suspensions without changing the local suspension state in order to achieve the automated control and control of industrial and water management plants in the interests of environmental protection. This is achieved by moving the device, which has been remodeled into a submersible probe, into a suspension and, during movement, picking up the measuring signal caused by the particles and discharging them for further processing, without changing the local suspension state in the measuring space due to movement and simultaneous measurement.
