titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PREPARING SUBSTITUTED 2- (2-HYDROXYPHENYL) -5H- / 1 / BENZOPYRANO / 4,3-D / PYRIMIDINES
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 2- (2-hydroxyphenyl) -5H- / 1 / benzopyrano / 4,3-d / pyrimidines, which in the 4- and 5-position as substituents an amino (or imino) , an oxo (or hydroxy) and / or a thioxo (or mercapto) group. It is the object of the invention, in addition to the already known from the literature 4-amino-2- (2-hydroxyphenyl) -5-oxo-5H- / 1 / benzopyrano / 4,3-d / pyrimidine other, previously unknown representatives of this type to produce in a novel way. The task is to find a technically feasible synthetic route. The object is achieved by the reaction of substituted 4-cyanomethylene-2- (2-hydroxyphenyl) -4H-1,3-benzoxazines with ammonia or with ammonium salts of weak acids, water or hydrogen sulfide. The compounds obtained are of pharmaceutical interest.
