abstract The object and object of providing a diazotype material containing color couplers which yield azo dyes with absorption maximums greater than 600 nm with 4-aminobenzediazonium salts and the 4'-amino-apha-cyanostilbene-4-diazonium salts form purple dyes is achieved by the diazotype material consisting of base, binder, diazonium salt, coupler and optionally further additives, as coupler 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4- (a-acetoethylidene) -pyrazol-5-ones of the general formula in which R is hydrogen, alkyl , Alkoxy, halogen and 1, 2, 3, 4.
