abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of azomethylidene heterocycles. Such compounds are of interest as synthetic intermediates and as dyes for the dyestuff industry. The preparation is effected according to the invention by reacting salts of nucleofugically substituted heterocyclic cations with hydrazones in organic solvents in the presence of an acid scavenger. |
