titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR UNACCEPTING CHROMIUM (VI) COMPOUNDS
abstract The invention relates to a process for rendering the skin damaging chromium (VI) compounds harmless in aqueous eluates or in mixing water, as obtained in industrial processes, preferably in cement mixtures. It is the object of the invention, e.g. to design the cement mixtures so that the content of allergenic dissolved chromium (VI) in the mixing water is reduced to a harmless threshold from a working hygiene point of view. The object is achieved according to the invention characterized in that a hydrolyzed chalcogenite anions, in particular sulfur-containing anions in which sulfur in the oxidation stages + 3 and / or + 4 is contained in a chromium (VI) -containing aqueous eluate or mixing water of strong alkaline medium as a reducing agent , is added. The procedure can be applied wherever the elimination of the causes of chromate eczema is pending.
