METHOD FOR PRODUCING A REPLICABLE VECTOR |
abstract |
The invention relates to a genetic engineering process for the production of leukocyte interferon, which is also an object of the invention. It is an object of the invention to provide a method for producing a replicable vector which, in a microorganism, provides for the expression of a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of a mature human leucocyte interferon. According to the invention, a first DNA sequence coding for this polypeptide is operably linked to a second DNA sequence which contains the codons necessary for the expression. |
