abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of amidine compounds of general formula I. The amidine linkages are prepared by reacting mitomycin A, mitomycin C or porfiromycin with amide acetals and other amide derivatives. These compounds have antitumor activity and are therefore useful as antitumor agents. |
