abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 4-oxy or -thiosubstituted 5-oxo-thiazolines of the formula, which are obtained by reacting 5-oxo-4-thioxo-thiazolidinen with Chlorkohlensaeurederivaten (CIC (O) QR). The aim of the invention is to find a simple synthesis method for the title compounds, which have significance as intermediates for subsequent syntheses.
