titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MICROBENDER RESISTANT POLYURETHANE ELASTOMERS
abstract The invention relates to the production of polyurethane elastomers which are resistant to bacterial and fungal attack or rot. The aim of the invention is the production of microbe-resistant polyurethane elastomers, wherein an optimal reaction sequence and good mechanical properties are achieved. The method incorporates a fungicide combination having a good synergistic effect. According to the invention, zinc salts and additive or reactive organic halogen compounds are used in an amount of from 2 to 4%, based on the finished polyurethane. Moldings made of microbe-resistant polyurethane polyurethane are used in agriculture, electronics, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding, for the production of Schlauchmanchons, tents and the like.
