IT IS ALSO SUITED TO ALCOHOL AND ALDEHYDE CONTROL IN BREATHING AIR. WITH THE INVENTION, THE EFFECT OF PLASMA ELECTRODES IN FESTELECTROLYTIC CELLS AS A FAILURE OF INFLUENCING CELL VOLTAGE BY HYDROGEN COMPOUNDS IS SUITABLE FOR QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF SUCH CONTAMINATIONS. THIS IS ESTABLISHED BY THE INVENTION THAT THE MEASUREMENT OF THE MEASURING ELECTRODE CONSISTS OF TWO DIFFERENT MATERIALS WHICH HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE STRIP OR RASTER MAGNETIC INTO THE POROUS LAYERS ON THE FIXED ELECTROLYTE MATERIAL. ONE MATERIAL OF ELECTRODE CONTACT IS MADE OF SILVER, GOLD, GRAPHITE, LANTHANKOBALTATE OR Uranium OXIDE AND THE OTHER OF A METAL OF THE PLATING GROUP OR OF AN ALLOY WITH A METAL OF THE PLATING GROUP. AS FIXED ELECTROLYTE, DOTED WISMUT, ZIRCONIUM OR THORIUM DIOXIDE CAN BE USED.
