titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR PREPARING SUBSTITUTED 9-AZABICYCLO (4.2.1) NONAN AND 9-AZABICYCLO (3.3.1) NONAN DERIVATIVES |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of substituted 9-azabicyclo (4.2.1) nonane u. 9-azabicyclo (3.3.1) nonane derivatives. The aim is the preparation of easily isolable 2,5-dihalogen substituted N-cyano-9-azabicyclo (4.2.1) - or 2,6-dihalogen substituted N-cyano-9-azabicyclo (3.3.1) -nonanes from (Z, Z) cycloocta-1,5-diene in good yields. The object is achieved by adding the diene and cyanamide in a polar organic solvent or solvent mixture with an N-haloic acid imide or amide reacted about 20 degrees C and the products are purified by fractional crystallization. The reaction products are valuable for the pharmaceutical industry. |
