titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of hydrogen peroxide by the anthraquinone process. The aim of the invention is to achieve a better yield of hydrogen peroxide through the use of a new solvent. In the anthraquinone process, an anthraquinone derivative is dissolved as a reaction carrier in a solvent or solvent mixture, alternately hydrogenated and oxidized, and the hydrogen peroxide resulting from the oxidation is removed from the system using a tetrasubstituted urea by hydrocarbon radicals. It is erfindaess as the sole solution. or used as a component in a solvent mixture, a tetrasubstituted urea, wherein at least one substituent is an aryl group, which is directly adjacent to a nitrogen atom.
