titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF TRI-N-BUTYL-ZINBENZOATE
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of tri-n-butyltin benzoate, which is produced in the chemical industry as a bactericidal and fungicidal active ingredient. The aim and object of the invention is to improve the previous technical solutions, in particular by improving the yield and purity, by eliminating environmentally harmful by-products and waste products and energy savings in the production. The essence of the invention consists in the improved preparation of tri-n-butyltin benzoate from bis (tri-n-butyltin) oxide and benzoic acid with a particle size of less than 0.5 mm in the absence of solvents, wherein the reaction components at normal temperature in 5 to 30 Be mixed with benzoic acid until close to or below the surface of the reaction mixture is then heated to 50 to 95 degrees Celsius, for 30 to 120 minutes and the reaction water either not separated or after separation in aqueous formulations of Tri-n- Butyzinnbenzoat is used.
