titleOfInvention METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TOUCHLESS OPTICAL SPACING MEASUREMENT
abstract The invention relates to a method and a device for contactless optical distance measurement, preferably small distances. The aim and task is the creation of a measuring method and a device for the accurate and simple measurement of small distances. This is achieved by having a radiation source in or on a housing with an opening and a receiver on or in the housing, that the housing is installed at a certain distance from the measurement object and that the radiation source continuously emits incoherent divergent light. The measurement object reflects the diffuse radiation in the direction of the receiver, only the part arriving inside the housing when the radiation source is arranged in the housing and, if the radiation source is arranged on the housing, only the part arriving outside the housing, its size for small distances of the measured variable is proportional to the measurement is used, in which the radiation components are converted into an electrical signal. The invention is z. B. used for measuring gaps and film thicknesses.
