The invention relates to a process for the preparation of CH-acid substituted aromatic amino compounds having reactive groups of the general formula I, II and III by reduction of the corresponding nitro compounds with hydrogen in the presence of hydrogenation catalysts in organic solvents. The aim and the object are to provide a process in which insoluble or sparingly soluble CH-acid-substituted aromatic nitro compounds having reactive groups of the general formulas IV, V or VI are catalytically reduced under mild conditions at temperatures of 10 ° C. <equal to <110 ° C. with little material expenditure in conventional organic solvents can. According to the invention, this object is achieved by carrying out the reduction in the presence of from 20 to 2000 mol% of at least one basic compound. Are used organic bases, amines or nitrogen-containing heterocycles, preferably ammonia, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, hydrazine, triethylamine, triethanolamine, pyridine, quinoline or mixtures thereof. |
