titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR PREPARING ALPHA-CHLORINATED CHLORO-FORMATS |
abstract | The invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of alpha-chlorinated chloroformates and, as new technical products, to novel alpha-chlorinated chloroformates. The novel process represents a catalytic phosgenation of a synthesis of alpha-chlorinated chloroformates of the formula (CH-OC-Cl), where m is an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic, substituted or unsubstituted radical and m is an integer greater than or equal to 1 or 1 is. This synthesis consists in reacting phosgene with the aldehyde R (CHO) in the presence of a catalyst, which is an organic or inorganic substance, in a medium containing an aldehyde of the formula R (CHO). contains a mixture of ions, one of which is a halide anion and the other is a cation which is sufficiently separated from the halide anion to impart a nucleophilic force to the latter it allows the aldehyde function or aldehyde functions of the molecule R (CHO) to attack deeply. |
