The invention relates to a process for obtaining Natriumbisulfitloesungen by processing of flue gases of the chemical and metallurgical industry, which contain sulfur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride in addition to normal combustion products. At the same time flue gases are to be obtained, which are environmentally friendly and contain only minimal toxic components. This is achieved by a method in which in a first stage d. Hydrogen fluoride contained in the gases are separated in two phases by an absorption suspension and the sulfur dioxide in a second process stage with a sodium hydroxide solution while maintaining the smallest possible contact times between gas and liquid phase. |
