abstract |
Of protein biomass by culturing microorganisms based on gaseous hydrocarbons, in particular methane and / or natural gas. The invention can be applied in the microbiological industry and is classified in the IKK: C 12 K. The invention aims to develop a process characterized by a high productivity at an increased flow rate. It has been found that the bacterial strain WSB 874 - ZMPM W - 1743 achieves this goal. This bacterial strain is cultured continuously at a flow rate of D = 0.2 to 0.3 h high -1, at a temperature of 42 to 49 degrees C and a pH of 4.4 to 5.6 under preferably elevated pressure. The strain ensures a productivity of 8 to 10 kg / m high 3 times h with a crude protein content in the biomass up to 77%. |
