abstract There are new angiotensin && antagonizing octapeptides of the general formula X-Arg-Val-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Y-OA, where X is an acyl group of N-methyl-amino acids, especially the sarcosyl group, or of the alpha - Position an aminooxy group or a hydroxyl group-containing aliphatic carboxylic acids, Y is the radical of an aliphatic alpha-hydroxy carboxylic acid, especially of lactic acid and A is hydrogen or a C 1-5 deep alkyl group, by cleavage of the protective groups of corresponding, constructed by customary peptidchemischen methods protected octapeptides.
