titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PREPARING 5- (2-BROMVINYL) PYRIMIDIN NUCLEOSIDES
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 5- (2-bromovinyl) pyrimidine nucleosides of the general formula I. The invention has the aim of preparing compounds which have a high virostatic activity and selectivity. The invention provides 5- (2-bromovinyl -) converted 2'-deoxyuridine in the presence of NaH with a sulfonic acid chloride in a sulfone ester. Subsequently, the sulfonic acid ester is reacted with XH, wherein X has the meaning given in formula I, or its salts.
