titleOfInvention METHOD FOR CLEANING MICROORGANISMS
abstract The invention relates to an improvement of the method for the purification of microorganisms, in particular for the removal of solvent residues from microorganisms with respect to the drying. After the main patent WP 142489 a method is known in which after contacting the extracted, still solvent-wet biomass with ethanol / water mixtures, a drying at temperatures ranging from 50 to 130 degrees C durchgefuehrt wird.Es has now been found that by a two-stage Drying, wherein the drying temperature is increased from stage to stage, the residual solvent content of the biomass can be further reduced. Depending on the type of dryer used, the residence times in each stage are from 5 minutes to several hours, whereby in the first stage the temperature of 80 degrees C may not be exceeded.
