abstract The invention relates to a process for preparing substituted 6-aryl-4H-s-triazolo (3,4-c) thieno (2,3-e) -1,4-diazepines having valuable pharmacological properties, in particular anticonvulsant, sedative, anxiolytic and antiaggressive action. The aim of the invention is to simplify the process, to cheapen and make environmentally friendly. According to the invention, compounds of the formula I are prepared in which, for example: R 1 and R 2 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or halogen atoms, lower alkyl groups and the like; R deep 3 is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, straight chain or branched alkyl group (1 to 3 carbon atoms), cycloalkyl group (3 to 6 carbon atoms) and the like; R deep 4 and R deep 5 are the same or different hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom.
