titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF NEW FURANIDE-CONTAINING ISOTHIONIC FRUIT SALTS
abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of novel furanresthaltetenhaltenden isothiourea salts by reacting furanrestenthaltenden starting compounds with thioureas. The aim of the invention is to find new biocidal compounds and to develop a process which makes it possible in a rational way to react readily accessible furan-containing starting compounds directly with thioureas to intermediates with potentially biological activity. For this, the reactants are reacted in a suitable solvent at temperatures in the range of 248 to 423 K, preferably 293 to 353 K. The invention is applicable in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. - Formula I -
