titleOfInvention | indolizines |
abstract | These are indolizine derivatives of the general formula, characterized in that R corresponds to a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a unsubstituted phenyl group or a phenyl group having one or two substituents which may be identical or different, selected from halogen atoms, for example fluorine, chlorine and bromine, as well as lower alkyl and alkoxy groups, for example methyl and methoxy, and X & ind1 !, X & ind2! and X & thetav !, which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or methoxy with the proviso that when they are identical, X & ind1 !, X & ind2! and X & ind3! are not simultaneously equal to hydrogen. These derivatives have both a delaying property with respect to the mode of action of xanthine oxidase and adenosine deaminase, as well as a uricosic property, and may be used in the treatment of physiological disorders due to an excess of uric acid and functional disorders of the immunization system. The derivatives can also be used as antiparasitic agents. |
