The present invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, and more particularly to methods of purifying refractory metals from admixtures. The object of the present invention is to develop such a process for the purification of light-melting metals from admixtures, which makes it possible to increase the degree of purity of the respective refractory metal with the concomitant reduction of losses of the same. The invention has for its object to change the conditions of Prozeszfuehrung in the process for the purification of light-melting metals of admixtures. According to the invention, a method is proposed for the purification of light-melting metals from admixtures, which consists in processing the melt of the respective light-melting metal with an inorganic acid solution in the presence of organic substances with ionogenic groups. The process is widely used in the purification of light-melting metals from admixtures, for example those of low-melting metals such as mercury or gallium, which are used extensively in the production of light-melting alloys in dental technology and in the production of semiconductor materials. |
