titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DIAGNOSTIC MYCOPLASMA PNEUMONIAE ANTIGEN FOR THE COMPLEMENT BINDING REACTION
abstract The aim of the invention is the development of a method which results in a highly purified diagnostic mycoplasma pneumoniae antigen for the complement fixation reaction of high specificity, avidity and stability. The invention is applicable in medical diagnostics. The method according to the invention is characterized in that, after cultivating v. Mysolplasma pneumoniae pathogens on the wall of glass or plastic surfaces in a known manner and in near-nutrient substrates, ultrasound treatment of the biomass is carried out, and subsequently in an additional and not yet described manner in this species Process step, the lipid component of the pathogen is extracted with suitable solvents, preferably a chloroform-methanol mixture, the residue of the extract is taken up with a polyhydric alcohol, in particular propylene glycol and a buffered saline solution and preserved with thiomersal.
