abstract |
The invention seeks to provide improved means for agriculture, in particular fungicidal and growth-regulating agents. For example, to prepare 3- (4-chlorophenyl) -5-methyl-2- (3-pyridyl) -4-thiazolidinone, 3-pyridylcarboxaldehyde is reacted with 4-chloroaniline and thiolactic acid. Reaction of 3-pyriylcarboxaldehyde with 4-chlorobenzylamine and thioglycolic acid gives 3- (4-chlorobenzyl) -2- (3-pyridyl) -4-thiazolidinone. |
