titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR ACETONE SEPARATION FROM AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES WITH HYDROCARBONS |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the separation of acetone from azeotropic mixtures with predominantly aliphatic C & ind5! to C & ind8! hydrocarbons. Their goal is to produce largely acetone-free hydrocarbons. The invention is based on the object z.trennen the present acton / hydrocarbon mixtures by extractive distillation using selective extraction agents. This object is achieved by using as extraction agent higher hydrocarbons or glycol ethers of the general formula R & ind 1! -O-CH & ind 2! -CH & ind 2! -O-R & ind2! or R & ind1! -O-CH & ind2! -CH & ind2! -O-CH & ind2! -CH & ind2! -O-R & ind2 !, in R & ind1! an alkyl radical and R & ind2! represents a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group or an alkyl group. This gives a consisting of extractant and extracted material bottom product, which can be separated by rectification. The non-extracted substances, on the other hand, appear as top products. When using glycol ethers, these are the C & ind5! to C & ind8! hydrocarbons, when using higher hydrocarbons acetone. One possible field of application of the invention is the recovery of solvent from the biolipid extract of feed yeast production. |
