titleOfInvention METHOD FOR CULTURING MICROORGANISMS
abstract The invention relates to a process for the cultivation of microorganisms on methane / natural gas as the sole carbon source. The invention relates to the field of microbiological Eiweiszgewinnung and is classified in the IPK C 12 N. The aim of the invention is to develop a method which enables a stable process under unsterile conditions with high productivity while at the same time guaranteeing an egg-rich end product. It was found that the target position is realized with the bacterial strain GB 25 - ZIMET B 502. This methylotrophic bacterial strain does not produce mucus, has a sufficient selective advantage over other slime-forming methylotrophic microorganisms and tolerates ammonium nitrogen concentrations up to 400 mg / l in the culture fluid. This strain is continuously subjected to unsterile conditions at a temperature of 38 to 40 degrees C and a pH Value of 5.4 to 6.0 cultured under normal pressure or elevated pressure. The end product obtained with the strain contains up to 75% crude protein and all vital amino acids.
