titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR CLEANING PHOTOGRAPHIC WASTEWATER
abstract The invention relates to a process for the purification of photographic effluents, d. Contaminants include complex cyanides and oxygen-consuming substances. The aim of the invention is the removal of these substances from the wastewater with high effectiveness. The task is to find a fast-acting method for the purification of such polluted wastewater, which completely reduces the cyanides and the oxygen-consuming substances in one step. In accordance with the invention, pulping and oxidation of both substance groups are carried out in one operation by supplying silver ions into the wastewater by measuring the potential value in the wastewater. As a precipitate silver nitrate is preferably used.
