abstract | In the present invention there is disclosed a process for trapping aerosols, in particular that of sulfuric acid, further nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, and the like, liquid particles from absorber columns , evaporators and chromate coating baths, saturated steam and compressed air sources, other industrial organic and inorganic aerosols, oil mists, monodisperse particles and the like, after their incomplete entrapment in the processing apparatuses thereof or subsequently in a device intended therefor, the process being characterized in that carrier gases containing a mixture of non-separated aerosol particles are further separated within an inner structure of porous ceramic slabs with three-dimensional net and fibrous morphology, whereby pore size thereof ranges within 7 to 60 PPI. |
