This invention relates to benzofuran derivatives, to processes for their preparation, to pharmaceutical compositions containing them and to their medical use, in particular to compounds and compositions of use in the treatment of migraine. In particular, the invention provides a compound of formula (I), wherein R<1> is -CH2CONR<3>R<4>; R<2> is -CH2CH2NR<5>R<6>; R<3> and R<4>, together with the N-atom to which they are attached form a saturated 4- to 7-membered ring of the formula (II) where Z is a group of formula -CR<7>CR<8>-, -O- or -NR<9>-; R<5> and R<6>, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl; R<7> and R<8>, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, hydroxy or C1-3alkoxy; R<9> is -SO2R<10>, -COR<10> or -COOR<10>; R<10> is C1-3alkyl; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof. |
