abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition capable of preventing the deterioration caused by oxidation, heat and light, excellent in stability and corrosion resistance and useful for molding products, etc., by including a specific polyolefin and a specified trialkanolamine trisphosphite therein. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a polyolefin such as polypropylene or polyethylene containing a residue of one or more transition metals such as aluminum, boron, titanium, zirconium, chromium or vanadium, main-group metals or a mixture thereof used as a (co)catalyst capable of causing the polymerization of the polyolefin in an amount of 10-1000ppm and (B) a stabilizing effective amount of a compound represented by the formula [(n) is 0 or 1; Q is a direct bond, S, etc.; Y1 to Y6 and Z1 to Z6 are each H, a 1-18C alkyl, etc.; A1 to A3 are each a 1-18C alkylene, etc.]. Furthermore, the component B is used in an amount of preferably 0.01-5wt.% based on the weight of the component A and a phenolic antioxidant, a light stabilizer or a processing stabilizer is preferably additionally formulated therein. |
