abstract This stabilized enzymatic agent consists of a solid mixture containing per 1 MU of enzyme urease 0.2 to 20 mmol of poly(1,6-anhydroglucose) with a molecular weight of 40,000 to 120,000 g/mol, sulphate of alkaline metal 0.4 to 6 mol, nitroprusside of alkaline metal 0.01 to 1 mol, 0.04 to 0.4 mol of a chelating agent that can mask heavy metals, such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or sodium azide, and 1 to 15 mmol of a reducing substance, preferably ascorbic acid or the sulphite of an alkaline metal.
