abstract This mixture of gases for testing for leaks from heat exchangers and the preservation of their inside areas where the pressurising of the heat exchangers is achieved for leak tests, the preservation of the inside surfaces and an indication of the escape of the gas mixture into the surroundings which consists of nitrogen and an indication gas the volume concentration of which is from 0.001 to 28%. The indication gas may be gas ammonia, amine, e.g. methylamine or a mixture of gas ammonia and amine.
