| abstract |
The device for the production of tritium-containing products comprises a system (1) for accelerating particles and a combustion target (2), the output of the particle accelerator (1) being oriented towards the combustion target (2). It further comprises a lithium production chamber (3), which comprises a first tank (3.1) and a filling of the first tank (3.1) containing liquid lithium (3.2) placed therein. The combustion target (2) comprises a second tank (2.1) and a combustion charge (2.2) located therein, which is liquid. A cavity is formed in the first tank (3.1) in which at least a part of the second tank (2.1) is located. The apparatus also includes a unit for separating tritium-containing products from the contents of the first tank (3.1). |
