The present invention relates to a supramolecular oxycellulose matrix complex with a taxol derivative having a sustained release of the taxol derivative, which contains 5 to 30 wt. a taxol derivative, which is preferably docetaxel, non-covalently bound to an oxycellulose matrix consisting of oxidized forms of cellulose with high therapeutic effects in topical intramuscular applications to residual tumor tissue after surgical removal. |
