titleOfInvention | Process for preparing graphite / TiO2 based pearlescent pigment |
abstract | There is described a process for preparing a graphite-based powder pigment composite coated with a titanium dioxide layer prepared from titanyl sulphate, which exhibits a variety of color tones in a suitable heat treatment method, and can exhibit a high metallic gloss by selecting the appropriate graphite particle size. In addition, it has been found that the prepared product is also electrically conductive, which greatly increases its potential use compared to conventional pearlescent pigments. |
