Detergent cube with low total fatty matter content and method of production |
abstract |
A low total fatty acid detergent bar containing a surfactant, 25 to 70% by weight of total fatty substances, 9 to 16% by weight of colloidal aluminum hydroxide and 12 to 52% by weight of water. A method for producing this bar, comprising the steps of: a) reacting one or more fatty acids or fat with sodium aluminate having a solids content of 20-55% at a temperature of 40-95 degC, wherein the Al.sub. 2.nOsub.3.n. Is from 0.5 to 1.55: 1 to form a mixture of aluminum hydroxide and soap; b) adding a predetermined amount of water to the aluminum hydroxide / soap mixture; (c) all other ingredients are added; and d) processing the product of step c) into cubes. |
