abstract | Described is an ordered self-organizing monomolecular layer of an organic compound on a substrate whose surface is coated with gold metal, formed by trialkyltin molecules. This layer exhibits stability in organic solvent environments such as n-hexane or ethanol and resistance to both oxidizing and strong reducing agents. Further described is a method for preparing said self-organizing monomolecular layer of an organic compound by adsorption of trialkyl tin salts of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, trifluoroacetic acid and / or paratoluenesulfonic acid on said surface, wherein the number of carbon atoms in the salts used is in the range of 1 to 36. |
